We were a little late getting our Christmas tree this year. It was just one of those years where we got super busy the first couple of weeks of December and there was no time to get out and get one – let alone trim it. And with Oliver’s birthday so close to Christmas, we try to keep the two events separate, for his sake.

The Tree Farm that we have gone to for the past number of years had one tree left in the size we wanted. ONE. Talk about fate. And I think it ended up looking pretty good in our living room!
