This afternoon was spent location scouting up in Caledon and Alton. I was shooting a wedding a few weeks later at the Alton Mill and wanted to get acquainted with the area. Oliver and Dana came along for the ride which quickly detoured for some ice cream, then for a wander in a forest we stumbled on. We finally made it to the Alton Mill, where we had a picnic lunch and enjoyed the day. It’s most often these afternoons that I cherish the most (just doing whatever the afternoon brings us – no schedules or plans involved). The “no pressure” shooting usually results in some of my favourite images. I’ve included a few extras here to show you what we created.
Cheers!
