We always have some fun decorating our Christmas tree. It’s usually a two-step process over the course of a weekend: (1) we go and get our real tree and (2) we decorate it the following day. The last couple of years I’ve taken to capturing some of the moments with my trusty Fuji X-E2 because it renders colours and low light beautifully. The glow of the Christmas tree lights balanced against the ambient light in the room can be tough for any photographer but with a little patience, and the right gear, you can create some amazing results.
