Sometimes you have to just go for it. Oliver has been increasingly short with me when I point a camera at him. He’ll shy away; give some sort of goofy face or just plain look down and away from the lens. He’ll give me nothing. So when Oliver was dressing up in some of his favourite costumes, it was the perfect opportunity to try and capture a few of the moments. That’s when Oliver really got into it. We had a great 20 minutes or so where Oliver showed me the range of expressions and emotions he could pull off. I should almost use these as tear sheets to get him some acting gigs. He’s that good!
