Oliver has always been intrigued with what is done to a pumpkin in order to make it a jack-o-lantern but I’d never say he was actually excited to do it. He didn’t want to get his hands dirty and he certainly didn’t want to feel the “guts” of the pumpkin. But something changed this year. Oliver couldn’t wait to get his hands on the pumpkin. He drew out a diagram of what steps we had to take to carve the pumpkin. He helped draw the face on the front of the pumpkin and…he ripped those pumpkin guts right out of there like he had been doing it all his life.
We had a blast prepping for Hallowe’en this year as I think you’ll see from the photos below.
