At our house Dana and I rotate years as to who gets to take Oliver out trick or treating and who gets to stay home to hand out candy. We haven’t had the best of weather the past couple of years with all the rain that has happened Hallowe’en night. It has been advantageous from a warm and dry standpoint to be the one to stay home. That was me last year – this year I got to walk the streets with Oliver.
Oliver wanted to be Iron Man this year. Not wanting to miss out on the experience of dressing up with my son, I picked up an Incredible Hulk costume. We were like two peas in a pod or should I say, two super heroes on a super team!
Oliver also wanted to go trick or treating with his girlfriend Lily. They actually planned the date together at school. A big thanks to Lily’s Dad Scott for being so accommodating.
Cheers!
