The Connell family cottage is located in Iron Bridge Ontario on a little lake called Chiblow. The cabin was built in 1934 and has been in our family for more than 30 years. I took my first trip up to the cottage at a very young age and it was only fitting that we did the same for Oliver. The long drive, coupled with the tight quarters, and the rustic methods of providing for our son, turned out to be a challenge this year with Oliver being at the age he was. But we hold faith that next year’s trip will be more relaxing for Dana and I.
As you can see from the pictures below, we most certainly had a good time at our hideaway in the North.
