David and I got way back. “High school days” way back. He’s actually one of my oldest friends that I still keep in contact with. But it had been multiple years since we were able to get our families together and that truly is a shame. So when they were in Canada over the Christmas […]
An equally awesome day/evening was Boxing day when we spent some time with the Ruprechts. We opened presents, had a wonderful meal and even played Cards Against Humanity (sans kids of course). It was a fabulous way to finish up the Christmas festivities. Cheers! trevor.
Having two families along with extended families can be tough to schedule at Christmas time. We work hard to accommodate everyone’s schedules and sometimes that means a little creative planning. This year we were heading to my Aunt and Uncle’s for Christmas day dinner. To accommodate for that, we ended up celebrating Christmas and my […]

Just before Christmas, Oliver’s class participated in their yearly winter concert. His class sang two songs this year. Even though Oliver was buried in the far back corner, it’s still fun to have these little performances on video. Cheers! t. Song #1: Jingle Bells Song #2: Santa Can You Bring Me New Teeth
Our second of two Christmases happened on Boxing Day this year at Grandma and Grandpa Connell’s house. Unfortunately, we were all still fighting off colds, and I came down with the flu which really put a damper on things. Last year we took Oliver for the first time to visit Santa at the Bramalea City Centre and we had a lot of fun. Surprisingly to us, Oliver was very good with Santa. We’ve all heard…
Every year, Dana’s Mom’s side of the family gets together once in the summer for a family picnic and once in the winter for a Christmas party. This year Oliver is at a great age…
The day after the day after Christmas was supposed to be our Christmas with Oliver’s Nana and Grand Dad. Unfortunately, Nana got sick over the holidays and in the interest of keeping Oliver healthy, Nana stayed back…
Today is Oliver’s second Christmas. Santa has visited our house yet again and left some wonderful gifts for us all. Oliver’s favourite gift: a bag of Apple Crisps he got in his stocking. Clearly Santa knew what Oliver…
Last year Oliver was only 26 days old when Christmas came around and that didn’t leave us a heck of a lot of time to introduce him to Santa beforehand. So, this year we made a point of checking his schedule…
Three words: Oliver’s First Christmas! What a blast we had! We thought the easiest thing to do would be to host both the Connell and the Ruprecht families at our house for Christmas Day dinner.
